Why RV upholstery wears differently

RV furniture is exposed to heat, sunlight, changing humidity and long periods of storage. Recliners, captain’s chairs and dinette seating also combine compact mechanisms with high-contact upholstery, so a small surface failure can spread quickly.

Repair, panel replacement or reupholstery

A stable puncture or short tear may support a localized repair. Peeling across a large bonded surface usually requires a replacement panel or broader reupholstery. The condition of adjacent material matters as much as the visible opening.

  • dinette cushions
  • loveseats and sofa beds
  • headrests and arm panels
